Thanks, Harry, for the entire week of updates. Things seem to be going very well, overall. Sorry to hear that Bill had to leave the expedition. Hopefully, he will be back. Nice to hear that Thomas and Christopher are on track with their acclimatization program. And it is great to see Noel's progress. So glad that his eyesight is not blurred this year. Keep it up guys...we're all rooting for you!!! MC
p.s. My favorite photo this time...ice sharks teeth at IC, 5800m

Romke,
you are right: the pictures are great!
By the way: I do not know whether my last e-mail will show up on the blog. So I would like to repeat here my questions to Thomas.
I am interested to know more about your eye desease, Thomas. Never heard of something comparable. What is its scientific name? Since you collect money for a thematic charity, we should all know how your handicap is called. I would also like to know when your temporary blindness started to bother you and how and when you managed to climb all the other summits in spite of your disability. Is this the first expedition with a blind climber on one of the summits? If not, why do I not find any hint in the internet on the former exploits (Aconcagua etc.)? Seems that you are a humble guy, Thomas. I like that. And there is something that really prevents me from sleeping: Are you married?
Love,
Doris

Harry, Kevin, Milan...
Bill here.
In katmandu. Feeling horrrible. Lungs still full of crap and coughing all night long.
I need you to do me a huge favor. I need to find out about my gear I had to leave. Doc was going to call me last night as to if it was going to be shipped here and I should wait for it or is it going to be shipped home. I can't make any flight arrangments until I know. Doc assured me I would not have to pay for anything, I just need to know when I can head out.
I talked to Asian Trekking and they had not heard anything.
Tell all I know they will do good and I am pissed that this expedition is over. Miss the basecamp food and all that.
Either send me an email or please ask Alex or Doc to call me. If he can leave a number for me to call back (sat phone or something).
Bill

It is good to be able to keep up with you all. Thanks Harry for posting things. How are the Russians doing? They always seem so strong but I have not heard if every one is doing well or not. I am so sad to hear some have to turn back, although it is hard for me to read this given my own circumstances. The pictures are so cool and I am extremely jealous that I did not get any higher.
always thinking about you all and hope you all get top the summit.
Harry you mentioned that my stuff is at base camp and it will probably be shipped at the end of the expedition. Yes this is okay unless you can get it out earlier. What ever works out best.
Cheers
