My favorite photo this time...all of them!!! Fantastic shots. National Geographic may be a closed door but eventually your photos will open that door...I am sure of it. Absolutely love the pix of the local parking spot in center of downtown; the Taschi Hells Angels wild, wild west and the small Taschi girl.
Cheers

Hi, Thomas,
I hope your eyes are ok by now.
Today I read in a paper that Japanese alpinist?? Ken Noguchi and his friend reached at 7,200m Manasul?? and had their tent there.
They do a cleaning of Everest every year.
Bring garbages down from the top to bottom.
They have their base camp at around 4, 500m.
I wonder if you guys have met them.
Anyway take care
Kiyoko

I'm sure you have heard that Tomas (swedish skiier) fell at approx. 8500m while repelling down a rock wall. He is still missing and his girlfriend put out a message to anyone on the north side that might be able to assist with the rescue. I know you are guiding Thomas but I thought you might get the word out in case any team could spare a sherpa or two. Here is the link http://everytrail.net/blog/tomas/
Again, wishing you a very safe and successful ascent with Thomas. He must be very excited! Good luck!

Dear Harry,
We met in Machermo, we were the photographers from Dubai going up to Gokyo as you were coming down. Its good to see that you are going strong, Ive been tracking you from time to time. I wish I was there rather than boiling alive here in Dubai-43C and its only 0905.
Good Luck, God Bless.
